Our story begins in Turkey, a land of rich history, vibrant markets, and incredible craftsmanship. While living in Istanbul and traveling around Turkey, we fell head over heels for Turkish peştemal towels—light, stylish, and endlessly versatile. Beautifully patterned, these towels are highly absorbent and quick-drying — the perfect combination in a towel! Great for airless bathrooms as well as trips to the beach and pool.

“Aşk” means “love” in Turkish — for us that means a love for quality, sustainability, community and tradition. Our mission is simple: to bring the charm and versatility of Turkish towels to you while supporting local artisans and focusing on sustainability.

Sustainability at Heart

We believe in preserving the world we live in. Our towels are made from natural fibers like cotton and linen, which are not only durable but also eco-friendly. The production process emphasizes reducing water consumption and minimizing waste. Turkish peştemal towels are biodegradable unlike synthetics, ensuring a minimal environmental footprint.

We donate 10% of our profit for each towel sold to environmental groups working in Turkey, specifically working with farmers towards better sustainability, direct actions to prevent climate change, erosion, reforestation and reduction of environmental pollution.
